Activity Centre Booking System:
The system is designed for outdoor centres which have to keep track of bookings which will include a combination of accommodation, activies and equipment.

Accommodation:
A key feature is that the accommodation already booked is displayed in a way that makes it easy to see who is booked in over the next few days, and to spot what accommodation is free when prospective customers enquires about making a booking.

Activities:
Each day's activities are displayed easily readible format. Where an instructor is required, but has not yet been assigned, the activity is highlighted.

Staff / Rota:
Keeping track of what activities individual members are qualified to lead, and when those qualifications are due for renewal, is another feature of the
system.

It also has a Staff Rota which includes a display of how many instructors are required each day to run the activities booked for that day, the staff that have been assigned to work that day, and who is on duty each day.

Equipment:
Keeping track of equipment hired to customers, and ensuring that a warning is received when trying to book out more items than actually exist, is an essential part of the system.

Some of the equipment requires regular maintenance and/or inspection to ensure that it is kept in good working order and free of any defects that could render it unsafe to use.
Planned Maintenance Systems:
Choosing which computerised PM System to buy is the easy bit; populating & maintaining the database(s) properly so that the system is really useful is the make or break issue!
